Touch Wood by Counter Print‘Touch Wood’, the accompanying book…

‘Touch Wood’, the accompanying book to the exhibition of the same name, which will be running from 17th–20th October at Dray Walk Gallery in London.

Born out of a deep love for nature, the project, imagined and curated by Thomas Danthony and Clare Mabin, showcases a community of artists, designers, and illustrators who have been asked to express what nature means to them by contributing an original piece of art, created on a wooden board.

The artworks from the exhibition, which have been reproduced within this book, have come from all around the world and are an invitation to, ‘contemplate, reflect, create, refuel, touch and dream’.

They have all been made by hand and each one is unique. Each artist has taken a personal approach, focusing on physicality and preserving the rawness of chosen materials, or expressing elements of nature figuratively or abstractly.
